One of the most popular PIPAF events is the annual Quick Draw public painting contest! All are welcome to compete along with our juried artists for $300 in cash prizes (and, new this year, a special Best Youth Submission prize!)

Many will come to enjoy this public viewing of our artists’ hard work on the Sunday Exhibition. Fall in love with the Parrsboro Shore all over again through the eyes of these visiting artists.

(Private event) Enjoy a hot breakfast with the judge! Artists will have the chance to ask questions, get feedback, and swap PIPAF stories before the events of the afternoon.

Not only do we have our Awards Gala, but a BONUS Exhibition starting on the Saturday at Art Lab Studios & Gallery! These are the extra paintings on top of the awards-eligible works that are available for your viewing (and purchasing!) pleasure.

On the Saturday, the much-awaited annual Collector’s Gala / Awards Night will reveal the week’s winners in 7 categories, with an awards purse of over $6000 in cash plus product prizes.

Collectors and novice art enthusiasts will have first chance at a stunning array of over 60 paintings in a wide variety of media.

(Private event) Here’s a great opportunity to unwind after a beautiful day of painting to enjoy some snacks and local drinks at Two Islands Brewing. Whether you swap ideas or your techniques are top-secret, this event will be much-enjoyed by the group.
